Questions

The things people ask

Where an answer is still being decided by the shop it is marked as such rather than guessed at.

What does it cost?
Pricing is per club for most work and per set for the rest — the full menu is on the services page. Whatever you pick, checkout shows you one number with shipping both ways already included. There is no postage line added at the end.
How long does it take?
Roughly 14 days in the shop once your clubs arrive, plus transit each way. If a job is going to run long, the timeline on your status page says so before you have to ask.
Do I pay for shipping?
No — not separately, and not at the end. The price you are quoted covers the prepaid label to the shop and the return trip home. That is why you never see a shipping line on your receipt.
How do I send the clubs?
After you pay, a prepaid label is emailed to you with the shop address already on it. Wrap the heads, box the set, and drop it at the carrier. You do not need to write the address down anywhere.
How do I check on my set?
Your confirmation email has a private link. Open it any time — no account, no password. It shows the stage of the whole set, the state of every individual club, photographs from the bench, and tracking for both shipments. Anyone with the link can see the job, so treat it like a receipt.
What if a club needs more than I ordered?
Work stops and you get asked. You will receive an email with a photograph, an explanation and a price for that extra work only. Approve it and the bench restarts; decline it and everything you originally paid for is still finished and shipped — only the extra is skipped. Nothing extra is ever done to your clubs without a yes.
Which clubs can you take?
The intake form covers irons 3 through 9, all four wedges, woods, hybrids and putters. If you have something unusual, say so in the notes box at checkout or email the shop before ordering.
Are you Ping?
No. This is an independent restoration shop with no affiliation to Karsten Manufacturing. Ping is their trademark; the clubs are yours.
What if something goes wrong?
The shop's guarantee, and what happens if a club is damaged or a parcel is lost, still need to be written down here. Until then, email the shop and you will get a straight answer from the person doing the work.

Not answered here?

Email goes straight to the bench, not a queue.
